ISRO gave training to 31 foreign engineers in Nanosatellite Building - in தமிழ் & English

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has imparted nanosatellite assembly courses and relevant training to 31 delegates from 19 nations. Conducted by ISRO's UR Rao Satellite Centre, which is responsible for designing and developing India's satellites, the two-months long training involved lessons on general satellite technology, nanosatellite design and testing. Nanosatellites are generally regarded as those weighing less than 10 kg. 



Known as UNispace Nanosatellite Assembly & Training by ISRO (UNNATI), the training programme was conducted by experts and scientists from ISRO centres such as UR Rao Satellite Centre, Space Applications Centre, ISRO Headquarters, ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) and ISRO Inertial Systems Unit. The foreign officers/trainees who attended the programme are those with academic qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics engineering. 

The 2022 edition is the third time that India is conducting the UNNATI programme and so far, a total of 91 participants have benefitted from the training imparted in all three editions. In addition to the theory classes, the participants were given the opportunity to integrate various subsystems of a nanosatellite. This included imparting the training to enable the participants to assemble, test and integrate low-cost nanosatellites.

இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் (இஸ்ரோ) 19 நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த 31 பிரதிநிதிகளுக்கு நானோ செயற்கைக்கோள் அசெம்பிளி படிப்புகள் மற்றும் அதற்கான பயிற்சிகளை அளித்துள்ளது. இந்தியாவின் செயற்கைக்கோள்களை வடிவமைத்து மேம்படுத்தும் பொறுப்பை வகிக்கும் இஸ்ரோவின் யுஆர் ராவ் செயற்கைக்கோள் மையத்தால் நடத்தப்பட்ட இரண்டு மாத கால பயிற்சியில் பொது செயற்கைக்கோள் தொழில்நுட்பம், நானோ செயற்கைக்கோள் வடிவமைப்பு மற்றும் சோதனை பற்றிய பாடங்கள் அடங்கியிருந்தன. நானோ செயற்கைக்கோள்கள் பொதுவாக 10 கிலோவுக்கும் குறைவான எடை கொண்டவையாகக் கருதப்படுகின்றன.

2022 பதிப்பு இந்தியா மூன்றாவது முறையாக UNNATI திட்டத்தை நடத்துகிறது, இதுவரை மொத்தம் 91 பங்கேற்பாளர்கள் மூன்று பதிப்புகளிலும் வழங்கப்பட்ட பயிற்சியின் மூலம் பயனடைந்துள்ளனர். கோட்பாட்டு வகுப்புகளுக்கு கூடுதலாக, பங்கேற்பாளர்களுக்கு நானோ செயற்கைக்கோளின் பல்வேறு துணை அமைப்புகளை ஒருங்கிணைக்க வாய்ப்பு வழங்கப்பட்டது. பங்கேற்பாளர்களுக்கு குறைந்த விலை நானோ செயற்கைக்கோள்களை ஒன்று சேர்ப்பது, சோதனை செய்வது மற்றும் ஒருங்கிணைக்க பயிற்சி அளிப்பது இதில் அடங்கும்.

English Tamil The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is developing a rocket named Next Generation Launch Vehicle (NGLV) to replace its ageing workhorse the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) that was developed in the 1980s. This was announced by ISRO chairman S Somanath at a press conference on the sidelines of the 'Engineers Conclave 2022' at the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) at Valiyamala here on Thursday.  "PSLV was developed in the 1980s and it does not serve the needs of the 2020s. There needs to be an evolution," Somanath said. NASA requests proposals for 2nd moon lander for Artemis astronauts (English & தமிழ்)

English Tamil x NASA is asking private industry to come up with ideas for another astronaut moon lander.  Concept Art - Future Artemis Missions The space agency is working to establish a long-term human presence on and around the moon by the end of the 2020s, via a program called Artemis. In 2021, NASA announced that it had selected SpaceX's Starship as the lander for the program's first crewed surface mission, Artemis 3, which is scheduled to touch down near the lunar south pole in 2025 or 2026.  In March of this year, agency officials said that they planned to encourage the development of a second crewed lander for Artemis, to provide redundancy and resilience for the program.
